- Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Article 51: The Commission shall classify a general-purpose AI model as a general-purpose AI model with systemic risk if it meets any of the criteria referred to in paragraph 1. A provider that has a general-purpose AI model that meets those criteria shall notify the AI Office without delay and in any event within two weeks after those criteria are met.
